Dear CSoC Members 

I am happy to communicate with you in this medium, as from the month of April, 2010 you can read the CSoC Founder’s Message for every month. 

First week of April, 2010 is a landmark as the CSoC members count reached 2000, leading to CSoC marking as the India’s largest online network for CS fraternity. Last month we have launched Premium SMS Alert Service, which is powered by India’s leading Law Book Publishers TAXMANN. I hope this initiative will benefit our members and visitors at large. 

You may aware that there is only 50+ days for June 2010 session of CS exams, and I am sure that most of the CSoC members are busy with their studies. To support you we have designed a new service called ‘Subject Alerts’, which is displayed in the Club Home Portal. Further a compilation of exam tips published in CSoC is emailed to all members, so that they can use it as a ready reference.  A “Time Left for CS Exam’ ticker count down is also displayed.

‘Stress’ is one of the restrictive forces for effective studying, so I urge students to take the exam seriously with a cool mind-set. You can practice few simple exercises, including yoga and or meditation, which can reduce your study pressures. 

At this point of time I request all members to use the online portals like CSoC to update your knowledge and subject inputs. You can also make use of such similar portals available in the internet, which I believe is of good quality. 

I thank the well-wishers of CSoC all over India, and I specially thank our Web Service Providers, Content Managers and Advisors, for making CS Students’ Online Club a brand of quality service. 

To conclude, I request all the members of CSoC to reduce the use of papers, water and electricity, as we are facing a great challenge of climate change and global warming. CSoC itself is a contribution to this drive, as you can learn and read online, thus reducing the use of papers. CSoC dedicates the year 2010 to environment protection with the drive slogan as “Share Knowledge Online “.
